Man, was it just me or did those PSATs fly by? And I dont mean that in a sarcastic opening sentence way, it did NOT feel like three fucking hours.
And it is worth noting that I did not walk to the 700 Building alone.
Things sort of droned on under the cloudy sky after that. Testing faded into into 4th, 4th into lunch, lunch back into 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, home free.
Not quite.
I did not realize my seat would require that much adjustment, honestly! The worst part is, I didnt realize it until 5:40, when the lesson had ended. My shoulders are still sore, man. Lee Gill's alright, but pretty much anyone who teaches you how to drive is gonna get on your nerves eventually.
The phrase "Give it some more gas for the hill" is now seared into the back of my brain, somewhere near "EVER-VIGILANT" and "Kate, take excalibur!"*
Monologue presentation starts back up on Friday, with me set to start off. I might even be ready.
