Driver's Ed-Day 3 or Eraserhead Hangover
At this time, there are exactly 21 hours left for me to complete this course and leave day-long lectures on the importance of safety belts behind me. But this is not the central focus of my time here. No, what I am here to share with you folks today (this means you) is that Eraserhead kicks major ass.

I dont know if the majority of people reading my blog are really into the sort of films David Lynch occasionally produces. Since a large percentage of them enjoyed 'Van Helsing', I seriously doubt it. But if you ever felt the need to crack open a window and receive a 90-minute view into the mind of a very creative filmmaker, Eraserhead is probably your best bet.

But even more interesting than the surreal, depressing nightmare that is this film is the section marked 'stories' that is one of the two features on the nearly barren 'Extras' menu. It runs about 90 minutes long, and basically ammounts to that much time of David Lynch reccounting experiences concerning the making of the movie and the people who worked on it. It's quite a humorous, if slightly dull experience to watch such a twisted and disturbing movie, and then listen to the man who masterminded it ramble on about how him and the lead actor worked on the sets.

And god, that is one messed up baby.
